Amazon CEO, Jeff bezos and his wife Mackenzie announcing the surprise split on Twitter, “After a long period of loving exploration and trial separation, we have decided to divorce and continue our shared lives as friends.” But no word as to what happens to bezos’ estimated $137 billion fortune. This is going to be one of the biggest ticket divorces ever. Reporter: The two have been married for 25 years and have four children. They met in the early ’90s while both were working at a new york-based hedgefund, soon marrying and moving to Seattle, renting a one-bedroom apartment as bezos launched Amazon.
