Reporter: Tonight, our first look at Jayme Closs’s return home, posing with her dogs, a beaming smile. “Love her so much,” reads another post with her aunt. We said we’d never give up, we didn’t, and now we got her. Reporter: Also, new details about the brave young girl’s harrowing escape after 88 days in captivity at this isolated home we’re now seeing in Gordon, Wisconsin. Authorities say Jayme’s alleged captor, Jake Patterson, had left the house before she took off, running into Jeanne nutter, who was out walking her dog. She was crying and said, “I need help. I don’t know where I am. I’m lost. Please help me.” Reporter: Investigators say the 21-year-old is unemployed and has no criminal record. Authorities allege Patterson killed Jayme’s parents last October and then kidnapped the girl. He shaved his head, so there was no hair left behind, maybe in case he thought he was going to get into a struggle. He tried to cover up his forensic footprint by concealing things on his body. Reporter: But the motive, a puzzling mystery. Why do we think this suspect targeted Jayme and her family? You know, the “Why” is the big question. I just know that Jayme was the target of Mr. Patterson. He didn’t know the losses, he had no contact with the losses that we’ve been able to uncover at this time. Reporter: Jayme’s family, now trying to return the young teen to normalcy. In a Facebook post, her aunt saying, in part, “It will be a long road, but we are family strong and we love this little girl so much.” And Alex Perez joins us live from the police station from there in Wisconsin. Investigators are still working to determine out what happened inside that house where Jayme was held. Investigators have been inside the home collecting evidence.
