Carmel health, when Dr. William husel ordered a “Leal dose” of fentanyl and a sedative and told Austin his wife was brain dead. Reporter: Bonnie died 30 minutes after the medication. Every time I think about it, I get said. Reporter: The health system says these patients’ families had requested life saving measures be stopped, but the doctor ordered more than what was needed to provide comfort. Tonight, 14 nurses and six farm simss have also been put on leave. David, the doctor has been fired. We’ve been unable to reach him for comment.
