Reporter: Parents in Wichita are filled with anger and frustration after scenes like this. Watch as their children were allegedly trapped on this school bus for more than an hour. Leslie zapata started panicking when she noticed her daughter was late. She finally called me and she was crying and saying that the bus driver pulled over on the side of the road, that they had to spend the night on the bus. Reporter: Parents say the driver allegedly pulled over because the children were too noisy and uncooperative. Calm down. Reporter: The Hernandez family also began to worry when their 5-year-old son did not arrive home after more than an hour. I honestly feel like the school needs to re-evaluate protocol. You have to think about the parents. You have to think about everybody involved. My biggest concern is our safety for our kids. Reporter: Parents say they incident — hope this incident leads to an updated policy. Even the parents themselves are split on this one. Some say that their kids were traumatized but others agree with the Wichita public school district who says the driver followed company policy and pulled over when it was no longer safe.
