So police are now hoping that newly released surveillance video will hold clues about what exactly happened to him and ABC’s Zachary kiesch is in studio on the story. Zachary, good morning. Reporter: Good morning, Dan, whit, Eva. Good morning to you. First friends say this is completely out of character. The man they know is dependable, seemed to be enjoying life now and now there is an all-out search near the San Francisco 49ers stadium in California. Thousands of fans inside Levi’s stadium had their eyes on the field Monday night in San Francisco. Good job. Reporter: That’s when Ian powers, a 32-year-old army vet from Spokane, Washington, was last seen on his cell phone walking alone and apparently leaving the stadium. Went to the bathroom and then got lost or something happened. Reporter: Police tracked his cell phone to this area west of the stadium where authorities found his car abandoned. His girlfriend, Chelsea Robbins, says she was with Ian and her two kids at the game before they got separated. So we basically drove around for hours trying to find each other and then his phone died. The last message I got from him was a text that said, hey, baby, at 9:40. Reporter: According to Robbins, he called and texted from outside the stadium but they were never able to connect. It’s incredibly unlike him. I’ve said this before, he’s probably the most responsible person in my family. Reporter: Police say powers has gone off the grid. Meaning no further email contact with anybody. No further, you know, financial activity that had been done with his accounts and so we’re really left asking for some help. We’re hopeful that we can still find him or any evidence of where he may be. Police are calling Ian’s disappearance suspicious but do not suspect foul play at this point in time. But just a crazy story, right? Sous but no foul play. That’s really interesting. It is. Key information here, the car was found in the same spot and again no traction, no movement, no credit card usage, no cell phone usage. A lot of things to figure out here.
