Bush, members of the youngest generation paying tribute to the member of the greatest generation and Amy spoke with kids and the president’s adopted hometown of Houston, Texas. Hey, Amy. Reporter: Hey, that’s right, good morning, Michael. Good morning. Guys. Remember, these kids weren’t even born when president H.W. Bush was in office but as I asked them about him they all knew who he was and had definite opinions about him as a father, husband and as a president. So what did president George H.W. Bush mean to you. He did really great things for his country. He was a good man. He’s the 41st United States president. And his son was also president. I think he was one of the best presidents the united States has ever had. He seems like an old friend of mine. He is a World War II veteran. And a really good father and husband. He did a lot of good things to protect our country. He knows the right things to do. He never gave up. I think he was a great president even though I wasn’t in his time when he was a president. He deserves respect from all of America. He served under the Reagan administration and got our country through tough types. He’s like a really great leader. You can see by looking at him. I’m here to pay respects to the 41st president, George Bush. He fought for our freedom of this country and I feel like it’s great to do that. It’s important to note that Houstonians of all ages will be able to pay their respects to the late president here at St. Margaret’s church in Houston but it’s heartwarming to see all those kids remembering a man as a uniter, great father and husband and incredible leader of our country, guys.
