Millions of Americans bracing for heavy snow and rain this weekend. We’re going to begin with that new storm taking shape. We’ve got about an hour left from Delaware to Connecticut of this one to say four inches depending on your location. You’re seeing images out of Camden, New Jersey. And in leesburg, Virginia, where the snow fell down and accidents happened immediately. You don’t need a lot and you’ll get more than this by the time we hit Monday and it will come from that storm tonight through early tomorrow and here by Sunday night into Monday morning. Michael. On the west coast in California they are bracing for the new storm as residents try to recover from the record rain and flooding that devastated dozens of communities and ABC’s will Carr is in guerneville, California, with the latest. Good morning, will. Reporter: Good morning, Michael. This area is under mandatory evacuation. The floodwaters have gone down. You can see where the water’s topped off on this sign where it’s brown and when you take a wide look, you can see businesses and homes that are still swamped with more rain on the way. The heart of wine country is drowning in damage after floodwaters drench sonoma county killing at least one person who was swept away. More than 20 inches of rain pounded the area. Streets filled with murky sewage infested water. Rescue crews on boats continue to search submerged neighborhoods looking for stranded residents. How many people have you guys evacuated? Upwards of 30 or so. Reporter: In guerneville residents had to be rescued after the town turned into an he — estuary. The devastation is widespread. The Russian river swelled and then crested at more than 45 feet. That’s the highest it’s been in more than two decades. More than 2,000 homes have flooded along with countless cars. You’re waving to your mom. That’s my mom. Across a road covered in water. Yep. That has to be a little surreal for you. Usually I’m on the other end. Reporter: Residents have been cut off from their loved ones and properties for more than 24 hours. Now that the water is going down, many are returning to see what’s left. The floodwaters have dropped dramatically since the Russian river crested, but we’re expecting more rain tonight and this weekend.
